Default Anyone need a Predator?

I actually cut a deal with the guy I bought the Predator off of, so I can now get two. One is on its way and the other he will ship to me tomorrow. If anyone wants the other, I'll give it to them for $275 with shipping included! Part# U7198 Will fit a 99' to 2002 Silverado, Sierra, Tahoe, Suburban, GTO, Corvette, etc. It will fir SOME 2003 models (not the trucks tho) I'm paying $265 for this one with $10 shipping and I obviously don't need two of them but these are hard to get for under $300 with shipping. (Trust me I know!) Here is the info from his email:

THIS UNIT IS FOR THE GM 99-02 LS-1, LS6, SILVERADO 4.8L, 5.3L, 6L, 8.IL. TAHOE 4.8L, 5.3L, 6L. SUBURBAN 4.8L, 5.3L 6L, 8.1L. AVALANCHE & SIERRA 4.8L, 5.3L 6L, 8.1L. DENALI & TUKON 4.8L, 5.3L. CADILLAC ESCALADE 6L. TRANS AM,CAMARO/Z28/SS 5.7L. LS1 AND CORVETTE LS6 5.7L.

I should add he has someone else interested in this thing so its still 50/50 on getting it for that price. If I do, you guys will be the first to know.

The idea is to be faster than 5-0.

LOL

Hey let us know if the tuner was worth it when you get it. I am planning on buying one for my truck once I get finished with the Supra.

Hey

I am looking to get a Predator or SCT tuner for my truck, since I have a local shop that will do custom tunes on each of these for my trucks. I would be willing to buy it for that price if you can give me a couple of weeks. It is up to you though. Let me know what you think.

1BadZ71 - if you are getting a custom tune, then you won't need the Predator.

Sorry jcbst12, didn't mean to **** block you.

yeh smoke does have a good point, i was considering a custom tune but i daily drive my truck and if i was to go all out on a custom tune id drastically change the shift points and everything, which is why i bought the hypertech from jcb12.

With my tune, I had him make the shift moderate at normal throttle, and really firm at full throttle. Unless you get on it, it drives smooth.

well the single cab me and my boss are building at work will have nasty shifts on an lq9 with a 408 stroker and lots of other unknown mods but what i was getting at is that doing a custom tune to my truck would lead to all that lol and im already broke enough as it is.

Honestly, I'll admit I wanted more than the Hypertech could provide, but it still has the best power-per-dollar than any other programmer. I just wanted to modify the TQ Management in the worst way. The Hypertech is real simple compared to what I've seen. And there is a catch with the Predators.......

NOTICE TO ALL IN THIS FORUM.......Predator requires a $100 unlocking fee on all previously used programmers. Once they are loaded to a vehicle they will ALWAYS be locked to that VIN unless "reset" by Diablosport. Its $99 plus S&H. I got the guy to cut me a deal on the Predator so I can get the Predator and the reprogram for $260 (with S&H and all). BUT I don't know if he will give me BOTH for that. Its looking like $200 with S&H for the other (because its newer?). So unless I can cut him down, its gonna be the same price as a new one. Bad side to saving $50, I have to wait another week. As far as the second programmer goes, we will see if I can swing a deal.
