I was wondering if there was anything that could be done to make the door locks stop automatically locking on my 2005 silverado. It is really annoying and the dealer says he cant do anything about it. Is he right or does anyone know anything better? Thanks

 

My 03 Sierra doesn't automatically lock but it's 2 years older than your truck. Not sure but I thought they were the same as far as that goes. I'd ask Argon what he thinks about it. He is a Chevy technician and if anything CAN be done about it, he could tell you. If you look on the right side of the screen, there is a box that says Top 10 Posters. He is the #1 poster. Just click on his name and send him an e-mail or private message. Good luck with it.

 

he is correct on the 05 ONLY...

older trucks ,you went thru steering wheel controls..06 and up,you re-program the bcm...an 05,nothing can be done.
