brake problem on 06 silverado?
i have a 06 silverado with 60 miles on it and now the brake pedal is making a pulsing sound from the left front when slowing down under 10 mph.even if i dont touch the brakes....i checked the front wheels bearings and cleaned the abs sensors or whatever the sensor is in the front hubs..and it still does it...anyone have this problem?its a 2wd truck.

yea i meant 60k miles....its not moving visibly but you can feel it and here the abs like its being energized.you know the sound of the abs kicking in if you were on ice or something slick...?thats what mie does at any speed under 10 while slowing down even if im not touching the brake pedal..its about to go to the dealer..i was hoping it was something i could fix myself.thanks again huys for help..it is highly appreciated.

we had an 01 silverado doing that exact thing come into work about two weeks ago... i THINK it turned out to be the abs motor/module itself... but i can check for sure tomorrow if you can wait about 24 hours lol

Is it possible that the caliper slide on that wheel is sticking some. That would cause the pad to stay in contact with the rotor even though you don't have the pedal pushed down. Just a thought, hope you get it figured out.

That was happening to my 98 when I first bought it and it turned out that the right front rotor was only getting pressure on one side and it had worn down to nothing. The other problem was that the right rear was out of adjustment so when I got under 10mph it would lock up or just cause some pedal movement. I'm going to replace the right rear springs as well to see if that possibly solves the probglem Im having where that tire will lock up if I hit the brakes hard above 25mph

I would recommend taking your vehicle to your dealer of choice. They will be able to diagnose your vehicle and fix it for you. This also documents your problems just incase. I hope this helps!
