Default Burned CD's

I can't get my stock single disc player to play CDR's that played in my Jeep and in my van. Sometimes it will play the first track, but will crap-out on the rest of the disc. I tried different media, slower burn speeds, etc.

Any ideas? The dealerships response was "yea, we know about the problem" [:@]

What media are you using? What software program are you using the burn? What speed?

It turns out that these are really important factors since the lasers in the car cd players aren't as strong as the home and pc ones.

Thanks!

Try to stick with .mp3 files and not .wma files. .mp3 works on all but .wma might not. Other than that try buying cd-r's that are especially for audio. That helps.

Ionly have .mp3's. It's pretty darn frustrating heh ...I'm going to get one of those cleaners for CD players and see if that does the trick.
