Default Camber???

My 1998 C1500 Cheverolet wears out the outside edge of my Front tires long before the rest of the tire tread wears out. I have taken it in to several different alignment shops including the dealer and they all say that everthing is ok. I'm no expert on front ends but the truck pull to the right plus the uneven tire wear has got me reading up on "how it works". I am thinking that improper camber adjustment is my issue. Can a guy like me check this in his drivway with the front and rear of the truck on stands??

Thanks for any replies!!

I had this problem before. I had the alignment done twice and checked cuz the truck pulled to the right and my right front tire was wearing. I did a rotation and it was gone. So I found out it was a bad tire. Just a thought.

Thanks! I did try that but same same. No difference!! Been on top of my tire pressure as well. One thing I could add is that I only use this truck for "barely scratch the paint" loads so I have been running passenger tires instead of harder riding truck tires!! Could that be it?? I don't believe so but stranger things happen!!

Camber will not make one pull , to left , or right.
That will be a bad tire , or caster . If one side of wheels ahead of other.
Like a toy wagon if you turn handle a little pull one way.
You can do camber with a level , just get wheels plumb, straight up and down.
But do it while setting on the ground.
I can not remember if a 98 has adjustments for caster.

Too much positive camber, which comes from a lift, can make the steering pull.
