Canopy frameless or sliding windows?
I have a 2008 Sierra 1500 (5.5 ft bed) and trying to decide between the sleek frameless windows that tip out, or framed sliding windows? I have read elsewhere:
Framed windows make a stronger shell and can hold more. True?
Frameless windows are harder to break into for theft. True?
For those that bought sliding windows, were you happy you did it? I don't have dogs so ventilation in the back is not too much of an issue, but I liked the idea of being able to reach in from the sides to get stuff from the cab. Plus not sure how I might use the p/u bed going forward. Advice? For frameless I'd go with Leer, sliding with Snugtop.
