carb spacers
Hey everyone,
I was on the diablosport website getting info for my tuner and came across a thread about TBS. They were saying that they are worthless on the newer model chevy/gm. I have an 05 sierra and they said a carb spacer is much better. Can anyone speak to the TBS and has anyone tried a carb spacer?
I haven't seen any posts regarding them and wanted to know more info. I emailed a guy from wilson manifolds to get more info. Here is a link to their website, they say it gives you good gains and the spacer is less than $150. The guy from preditor "mike" said they are legit.

RE: carb spacers
I think TBS is for fuel injected throttle bodies and the carb spacer is for, well carbs. There is definately a bigger gain on putting a spacer on a carbed motor versus a fuel injected motor. But either way there is a difference. For $30-$50 its not a bad modification. The aftermarket MAF sensors are the one that are iffy on power gains.
