Hi guys,
I have a 2002 Silverado 1500 SB and I'm trying to figure out what my options are for getting a Center Fold Down Seat Back (on a budget). I bought one of those units you attach with the seat belt, but I don't like it. I guess I could check out a junk yard for a used seat.I was thinking there might be a way to cut the two back support bars and put in a hinge----- has anyone tried this and if so, where did you make the cuts and what do the hinges look like? Any other options? Thanks, Charlie Seattle

 

As I recall someone did this a few months ago on here but I can't remember who it was. Try doing a search for some of those key words and see if you can find it. Someone else may remember who it was that did this.

Any information on hinges ?? I was thinking about doing the exact same thing or pulling the center out and getting something on ebay

the cheapest i found was 110 buck on ebay and lkq. I am still hunting for hinges......
