Default Changing cam shaft

Stock 1990 C1500, I want to change out the cam shaft to a mild cam so when idling you can hear it, have always done this to vehicles with carburetors and no vacum assisted items such as brake booster. Can this be done to this vehicle and still use the stock electronic fuel system? If so how will the computer handle this? What about the oxygen sensors?

You may be lookin for something like a 218 duration to give it a little choppy idle, it will work, but Im betting the stock fuel system will peak out before the cam does. Only way to tell is to look for some dyno tested cam set ups and how much psi was needed.
