I am still confused as to what happened to the 350? I know the LS is a great motor but damnit whatever happened to the 350.

To answer this guys question. Dude seriously why not shop a local late model wrecking yard around your area or even seeing what they have available online. Doing this would save you great money. You could also call around to a couple of muffler shops and see what they have to say as far as what they might charge you. I would personally go to a muffler shop for any exhaust work.

i love the 88-98 body style. and yes the 95 dash looks better but it comes down to affordability for us all now doesnt it. as far the exhaust goes id rather go without the cats. its just im looking into in case when inspection comes around and they hassle me about not having them. if i have to buy them i dont wanna pay alot for some that im not going to keep

Yep, it was all about fuel economy! I miss the old firing order!! 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 is stuck in my head like Jenny's phone number (867-5309)!! They introduced the new firing order 1-8-4-2-7-6-5-3 in 99.

The Gen III's and IV's will beat the dog **** out of the 5700 series in top end. However, I miss my 95 Z-71 tremendously! The 5.7L had a lot more ***** off the line then our 5.3's and 4.8's. Now I'm sad...

Yeah, you just need a battery, alternator and starter every 100,000 miles and you're good to go...
