If your truck is a V-6 and you want it lifted, go for it. Gas mileage already sucks and power isn't great, so you might as well have fun. Unless you're drag racing, no one knows what engine you have. If you want speed and great mileage, a truck isn't the best way to go.

 

I have heard that the smaller engines like chevys v6 and toyota's 4 bangers dont last nearly as long with large tires and poor wind resistance. If your stuck with the truck and really want a lift you could go with a level and larger rear blocks, thats what I did. But remember to do a front and rear end alignment afterwards.
