I've heard of some guys gettin coolant bypasses and I'm not sure what it really does. Anybody know?

yeah your pretty much not going to notice any difference at all but it's just the piece of mind I guess.

I think it did help for me. I noticed a difference the first time I did it. Without the heat rising to heat the air entering the throttlebody oit made my truck more responsive. It did not seem to hesitate as much.
