you should porbably get your other mods donefirst so you don't have to keep getting it re tuned. the guys here have used wheatly in the past. they also have their own handhelds too. I'm sure you'll get some good suggestions.

it's the name of a custom tuner, if you do a search for the name in this forum or web i'm sure you'll find it. there was a great amount of discussion on it a few months ago. i don't have a tune yet so i don't really know all the details. you might also want to do a search for jason at good guys garage, i belive he was doing tunes as well.

Allen Nelson should be your first choice for mail order tunes. Wheatley is extremely difficult to get a hold of.

And you should do your tune prior to your other mods, not after. Allen will send you free updated tunes as you add mods.

Here is his link. Tell him Moze told you to contact him.

Those tunes are expensive, although most say they are worth it. I know a WAIT4ME tune is $158, which has to be the best one for the price.

Allen's mail order tune is the best for the price. He's far more accurate than Wait4Me.

I want a custom tune but gas is so high in Florida right now there is no way in crap I'm gonna set my truck up so I can only run one specified octane level. That's pretty much the main reason why I have been wanting to get a tuner instead. Course those of you who are making more than $8 an hour probably could afford to always run high octane all the time....[&:]

Boy, after diiging around I'm more confused than ever. I have read glowing reviewsAND criticism about several tuners,Wheatley,Nelson,Wait4Me,and Westers. I am looking to make improvements in MPG and Drivability on a Bone Stock 5.3 1500 Z71 Ext Cab WITHOUT abusing the vehicle or decreasing it's reliability. Help me cut through the Fog.
