Default developed a squeek/grinding

hey guys, i noticed the last few days that when i turn the wheel about a 1/8-1/4 turn to the right i get a squeek out of the left front tire. wondering if anyone with a bearing going out has experience this?? it doesn'tdo it when i hit the brakes or turn the other way.its not really loud just there, im going to be putting new shocks on sometime in the next week and will probably just pull off the tire and take a look. but just wondering before i get my hands dirty. if anyone knows anything it would be much appreciated.

ps. i've been easy on the gas pedal and driving bout 55-60 down the highway and have been able to get 19mpg regularly. very happy. only add on is a k&n air filter.

Default Front End Grinding Noise

I have the same grinding noise when turning right. IT's there (I think) when turning a little left too, but its more pronounced when turnong slightly right. My mechanic told me that the seals on the differential in the front need replacing which I'm going to do. He also said he cannot find anything wrong and these noises are common on my truck (2003 Silverado 1500 ext cab 5.3 Ltr). My thing is, the truck didn't make this noise when it was new, it shouldn't now (at approx 97,000 miles). I know the seals have been leaking for awhile and did once add fluid. That being said, I'm going to add some additional fluid this weekend and schedule it to replace the seals. Someone on another forum posted that Lucas Oil makes a product that does wonders in quieting noise in the front differential. If anyone knows what that product is, please LMK. I've also heard that the inner wheel berings are occasionally problematic, so I think I'll check them as well.

Does anyone have any other possible causes of theis issue?

Check your brake pads especially since the sound is coming from the front it it is most likely the brake pad indicator telling you you need to change them and if it is you want to do it soon before it ruins your rotors
