Default Drivers Side Sagging

I own a 06 GMC Sierra Z71 and installed a RCD 6inch lift. The rear I used the blocks along with my stock leaf springs. I have noticed over the last few months that my drivers side rear is sagging about 1.25 inches lower than the rest of the truck ( I measured the gap between the tire and fender well on the entire truck). I have doubled checked everything and can't figure it out. I haven't even taken my truck offroad yet, and I can't get a straight answer out of anyone. Maybe the rear leaf's need to be replaced?

I've got the same problem, rear on driver's side is a bit low. You can just notice it when you look at the truck from behind, but it's not more than probably an inch or two of a drop. Did you ever figure out what caused it? I was thinking that maybe i needed new leaf springs, and if I were going to get new ones, I'd get the heavy duty aftermarket jobs for extra towing capacity. '97, 5.7L 4x4 with 180K miles. Any Thoughts?

Sounds like it could be a weak leaf spring possibly.

That's what I was thinking too, probably a weak spring... wouldn't be a shock would it?

Do you know of any good places to get aftermarket springs? I'll start digging around myself, but curious to see if you know of anything.

Anyhow, thanks for the thoughts.

my 2000 has the same problem and i think the reason is caused the placement of the gas tank puts more weight on that side causing it to sag but over time it probably wears that spring down

Springs wear out. May even have one broken leaf. It is not easy to match them up with new ones. I had the same problem with a 99. After three months waiting on the dealer I bought the first leaf below the main. It brought it back very close. Later! Frank
