So... Have any of you ever thought of some idea that was far-off, but you think to yourself that it might work???

Here's mine: Those of you who have performed the bypass know what I'm talking about when I discribe the barbs the coolant hoses attach to on the bottom of the throttle body... I'm sure most of you also know that compressed air gets REALLY cold when it is released into the atmosphere...I think if someone wanted to hook up a tank and a hose and run it through the throttle body, it would cool down the incoming air, thus making a ****LOAD of power... Any volunteers???

You could also try and use CO2 or NO as an intercooler.Sure it would be a little more $$ for the gas but its kinda trick.. I defiantly will give that a shot when ever I get back to the BEAUTIFUL USA...

 

Damnit - now I'm curious as to how good that'd work. While I won't be the first to try it, if someone does and it works, I'll mount a tank for the compressed air in the trunk of my car.

 

haha take the cooling unit out of a freezer and hook it up toy your intake

 

mrlm7's idea would work if it made the air alot cooler beacuse in winter when we get freezing temperatures vegicles have alot more power from the cool dence air

 

You know, why not route your air conditioner ducts to the intake? that could work and it wouldn't be too hard to test.

 

It would be very difficult to keep it from leaning out.
