hello to all, and thanks for reading this. long story short my votec 350 is on its last leg. 200,000 miles and bearings are clattering. so i got a question for all the motorheads. a while back i bought a crate 350 motor for a 85 z28 tpi camaro from scoggin dickeys. put it in and it ran great but never would pass smog. so i yanked the ($1600) motor and junked the camaro. now i need an engine for my truck andwas wondering if this crate motor will fit in my truck. i think all i have to do is put on some vortec heads and drill and tapp a hole for the crank shaft sensor. the vortec has this sensor and the older crate motor does not. what else am i missing? or will this even work at all????????????????

nevermind! i talk to a guy at chevy and he said it would not be worth it. thanks anyhow.
