Default exhaust pricing

What is the average price for dual exhaust with flomasters from cat back. I don't want to get ripped off. Things seem to be more expensive here in Charleston, SC that what I am hearing from other places. Also is it better to do a true dual exhaust, true dual with x pipe, y-pipe to single muffler with dual outlets, or y-pipe to dual mufflers with dual exhaust. Or any other combination. I am looking for best performance and milage (performance first).

well i had a 2 chamber flowmaster off one of my old trucks. i intalled it with a pipe the dumps over the rear axle. its a little loud but i like it. lots of power and great throttle response. i had dual exhaust on my other trucks but polishing tips is just one more thing you have to do. i highly suggest doing what i did. save your money on tips and pipes and labor.

SMOKE,
i HAVE A flowmaster AMERICAN THUNDER SUPER 40 2 CHAMBER CAT-BACK SYSTEM ON MY 03, 5.3L. ITS DUAL EXIT IN FRONT OF THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR TIRE. ITS EXACTLY LIKE THE NASCAR TRUCK SERIES TRUCKS. IT COST ME ABOUT $340. for the money i dont think there is better then flowmaster. American thunder system is nice and loud. The force II system is much milder. hoped this helped

WHAT DID YOU THINK IT WAS GONNA BE. YOU DID READ THE AD BEFORE YOU BOUGHT IT RIGHT? I THOUGHT I EXPLAINED THE SOUND DIFFRENCE BETWEEN THE , AMERICAN THUNDER AND THE FORCE II. SORRY I DIDNT HELP. MOST PEOPLE I KNOW WHO MODIFY THERE TRUCKS WANT THAT RETRO-MUSCLE CAR SOUND, AND THATS EXACTLY WHAT YOU GET WITH FLOWMASTER. AGAIN, NATE, I APPOLOGIZE IF YOU WENT OUT AND WASTED MONEY I ASSUMED WE WERE ON THE SAME PAGE AS FAR AS MODIFYING EXHUST FOR TONE AND PERFORMANCE, AND THATS UASALLY WHY PEOPLE MODIFY EXHUST.

Im with you on that one!!! i love the sound of my 350 through some flowmasters!!! i would run straight pipe if i wouldnt get pulled over at every corner. I would run dual flows if i could keep it street legal in california.
