I just got a new (New to me) 06 Silverado Crew Cab with 11,000 miles on it and i was wondering whether or not i should put some flows on it. Im really worried about it rattling the inside of the truck apart. And making everything else rattle!!! So anyone withsome exhaust on their new chevy let me know whether or not urs rattles!!

 

I have an 03 with a 40 Series and so far I haven't had any problems with rattleing due to the exhaust. Just make sure you take it somewhere decent and not some El Chipo muffler shop. If you do take it somewhere cheap watch them do the job so you know whether or not they try to "rig it".

 

No rattle at all in mine.

 

the only rattles i've heard in exhaust is broken hangers

 

Lube the muffler bearing when you change it out and you shouldn't have any problem.
