Thanks everybody I'm goin to paint the brake calipers next,I was thinkin bout some red vinyl strips down the hood and the cover just like the rst trucks and some 22's.

What do you guys think bout the honeycomb grille?I want to get denali headlights,honeycomb grille and chrome Denali SS lettering on the side......so many ideas.

 

But if its not a denali SS than you are setting yourself up to get dogged by everyone wanting to beat a denali right? You don't want to false advertise and then get shown up, unless you plan not to race adn make it really look fast. To me it's like the ricers with a ton of performance stickers. Maybe I am wrong, but I just like the sleeper look. No offense, jus my view. The only labels on my truck are my EMS star of life that I have to have and my South Carolina receding from the union Flag.

 

I used to think it'd be cool to have SS badges on my rig. But smoke20's right, putting SS on a Sierra with a mildly modded 4.8 is like slapping a GT-R badge on a Honda Civic. It looks cool for all intents and purposes but your setting yourself up for ridicule.

 

i dont know, he has a good bit of stuff done... i dont know what a denali ss is though

 

Agreed, his truck looks really good and I'm sure it's fast. But it's not an SS. And doesn't really compare performance wise to an actual SS.

 

I do really like the look of the honeycomb grilles I think they look really slick. I found on for my truck and have been thinking really hard about getting it. But I just dont want to spend the money right now. Maybe someday?

 

 

I actually kept up and beat a friend in his stock Silverado SS.I kno its fast enough to wear the SS badge.
