Flowmaster Delta 40 question

Flowmaster Delta 40 question
I currently have a flowmaster knock-off on my truck called a Flo-pro and it sounds pretty good, but I want it a little louder than it is. However, I don't want the cab noise because of my 2 year old watching his dvd's. :-)
So I was out doing some reaearch and found on the Flowmaster website that the Delta 40's are supposed to have "reduced interior resonance" but according to the charts they have, it is about the same as the other 40 series mufflers.
Here is my setup: It's stock to the flange that is after the converter. From there, it is costom 3" stainless to the stainless muffler, and continues single outlet straight out the back.
So, for those of you that have the Delta 40, how is the interior noise? Just wanted to mention my setup because I know a lot of you have dual outlet and mine is only single.
Thank you in advance!

Bigcat, your truck looks newer, so the interior noise may not be bad at all. I have 2 - 40 series and it is only loud at 1800-2200 in the cab with my foot heavy into it. Just cruising it is not loud at all. My 93 was very loud though with the same setup. I just think the cabs are better insulated.

I had that set up on my Jeep Grand Cherokee and there was little noise on the inside and those have that back hatch on them were the noise could come in as well. I could hear it but it wasnt bad. There was for sure a little noise with the windows down.
It dose sound way good though!

RE: Flowmaster Delta 40 question
Yeah my truck is an '07... Well, I think I may go with a Delta 40 and I think it will be louder, but not too much. Having the stock cat will help keep it down a bit I think. I guess I can let you know after I get it done and go from there. Should do a video/sound clip of what I have now, and then compare it to after putting on the 40. I'm curious to see how much difference there is.

RE: Flowmaster Delta 40 question
Well I decided to go with the Super 40, mainly because it also has the Delta Flow technology, and I found it for $60 shipped! I have 3" stainlesspiping from the cat back with a single outlet straight out the back. I must say that I am very pleased with it, the sound, the performance, and the look of the single tip! Considerably louder than my other stuff was on the outside, and just a tad louder in the cab. Very happy with it!
