Default front leveling kit

I soon will be getting a front leveling kit on my silverado 1500. Does anyone out there have one and how did it affect the ride?

I have the Leveling kit installed on my 08 silverado, the ride quality is still the exact same, i sell em at work all the time andto make sure your ride quality doesnt change, make sure you dont crank the torsion keys the full 3 inches and you will be fine. just over 2 inches will level your truck just fine and you wont even see a change in ride quality, just a nice *** lookiing truck!

if your talking to me, no I did not get bigger wheels and tires (will be sometime, HD Rockstars looking at them), but with the way the new fenders are and how goofy there shaped on the NBS Silverados, you can only fit up to 32" tall tires. but on the 99 to 06 and 07 classics you can fit like up to 35" tires, I wish I could on mine.

Hey Moose,

What year/model truck do you have and what kind of leveling kit are you getting? Make sure thre replace your stock keys and they're not just going to crank your torsion bars or you'll be sorry. You might also want to replace your front shocks if you're going over 1.5" because they will bottom out on full droop.

Leveling kit is a BDS 2 inch combination strut spacer/ coil pre-load system. I was told shocks will be good.

i have the level kit on my 04 1500 ext cab. center of rim to fender is 23 inchs up front and 24 inchs in back. i did 4 ich blocks (2 inches over stock) and she rides incredibly well. just make sure that you do procomp es3000 shocks with em and it will be a dream. and no way will you fit 35's. mine looks very good with 32 inch tires and a **** load of travel

and energy suspension makes a good sway bar bolt kit, did it at the same time. .75 inchs shorter then stock so it sits flat and acts like a sway bar
