Default fuel tanks swapped

I am putting a 87 motor (350) in my 86 as the motor is beyond fixing, the 87 has TBI and I think that is good, I also got the fuel tanks with the fuel pump internal but I need the harness from the selector valve mounted under the truck on the frame to the tanks and up to the switch in the dash. Can any one of you point me in the right direction so I don't have to do a cob job getting them to swap gauges and fuel pumps or maybe one of you have such an item not needing it any more? I have tried local and no one has a truck with the dual tanks. thanks

Dual tanks got pretty rare after about 1983. I think that is when they switched body styles. So you will be hard pressed to find one with switched dual tanks! Good luck!

Gm switch to the new body style in 1988 with the exception of the Blazers, Suburbans, and the K3500's and the 3500's had the option of dual fuel tanks until they switched in 1992. So rarity is not a problem except they did change the color coding of the wiring harness in 87 when they switched to the in tank fuel pumps. thanks
