Default Fuse box question.

98 GMC Sierra. Wipers work but fluid will not spray. You can't even hear the motor running when you try and spray it. First check of the fuse box and I find that the fuse for the wipers is not even in the socket. Wipers should not work without the fuse. Look a little closer to find the metal seat for the fuse is also missing. All I see is an empty whole were the fuse should be.

Once again the wipers still work, but there is no fuse. This leads me to believe the old owner wired the wipers directly. No big deal but I want to fix it right in hopes the sprayer will work once again.

Is there any way to replace the metal seat for the fuse? I'll try and shoot a picture up tomarrow so you know what I'm talking about.
