Default Getting the Chevy Repainted

Well my truck right is going through a makeover. I bought a cowl induction hood with a 2.75" rise, glassworks unlimited fiberglass fenders(3.5" wider), and im getting rid of my block under the leaf's in the rear and getting a true 6" leaf spring liftwith no block(my other leaf's were already falling apart). I am going with black again(with a little pearl)but on Sunday morning I was thinking of putting in some stripes down the center. I was thinking going wit flat black stripes. I dont know how a painter would pull that off with paint. I have asked and they kinda just scratched there heads. So I was just thinking of going with decals, anybody know of a good place? Thanx any input is appreciated.

as a painter i can tell you they can paint your truck then after it dries simply mask off the stripe and re clear it with a matte clear. the only down side is you will have a line but it will be the same as a vinyl line

So they do have matte finish clear. I think ill be better of that way cuz I would need the stripes cut to certain size cuz of the new hood.

Yea. I wont go back there. Front office said they could but when I asked the painter he was a little confused. I just don't think he has done that before.

Im in Los Angeles.I already found a painter. Actually I already bought my paint. It was like 350 a gallon but got that extra discount and made a deal on the side and got it for 200 a gallon. My cousin is going to paint it. I just saw him paint a 07 F150 with black and came out flawless. Didn't know he was that skillfull(used to only be a body man for years). Can't wait to get this thing done. Im picking up my leafs today so I can get my truck rolling and get the body work started.
