she ran great after i jump started her with my truck
she had no coolant at all so i put water in it for know then tomorrow im gonna drain it out and get coolant on friday
she has a bad head gasket leak as the oil on the dip stick turned brownish white after 5 minutes of running
it needs a new distributer cap and dizzy
then sheel be good to go on the road again minus the left front turn signal is out
so thats my next project after my truck gets its new brake lines
so if you see me asking alot of ?s about a 99 suburban that would be why
i can do the head gaskets myself but as for the dizzy goes i will be needing some advice when it comes time to installing it as the last one i did was off timing 1 degree in the suburban
any tips on how to instal the the dizzy to make sure it gets in the right way

also the suburban has sat for almost a year or 2 so any ideas of what to do i know the basic tune up oil and trans fluid changes and what not but any other suggestions would be helpfull as i wanna get this thing road ready again to i can drive it as my 3rd vehical

 

buy yourself a good timing light and the distributor installation should be rather easy
