You also have to think, they can control the temp of the air going into the engine in a dyno room to get whatever results they want.

smoke20 you are right about that. for the money it is not that great, better saving your money and finding a different mode like your exhaust system. did you have the system put together after you got the headers etc.?

Yeah I did, I did headers and intake at the same time, then exhaust later. I did alot of exhaust research and still screwed it up. The 5.3 motor has alot of power, but is very particular when it comes to exhaust.

I installed a cold air tuned Granatelli MAF on my 5.3L yesterday. It started raining cats and dogs so I couldn't road test it. This morning I took it out, and my AC was blowing hot air. I cut off the AC, and continued on. Let me tell you, performance wise. It does what it says it does. I had a very noticable increase in performance. I took it up on the Interstate and over the mountains. It ran like a champ. When I got back, I reinstalled the stock MAF to get my AC back. I'm calling GMS on Monday to find out what the deal with my AC was about. I'll let you know, but Granatelli sold me despite the mystery of my AC messing up.

How much did you end up getting it for?

Grey ghost - can you post some measureable number comparisons? like 0-60, 45-65, fuel milage, etc. I would jujst like to see how much of a change there is. Also, you may just need to reset your computer by unhooking the battery for 1 min to get the A/C working right. It may take a coupe times. Mine does that every time I unhook the battery.

Thanks Smoke, I haven't reinstalled it as of yet. I have been pulling doubles for the last couple of weeks. I'll let you know when I do.

I paid $310.90 including shipping from Summit. That was the best price I found, and I spent some time comparing prices.
