I am a new Silverado (93 Silverado, 5.7L, Auto) owner. I would like to put a billet grill in it, but am not sure what my options are. I have seen the billet inserts that require cutting of the old grill (such as the T-Rex model). I am not too excited about that... I have not seen an insert that does not require cutting. Can I put a GMC front grill (same year) on the truck and then a billet insert into it? Can I put a later year Chevy grill in it that will fit with no issues and take the billet inserts without cutting? I really don't like the phantom grills, not to mention having to extensively modify the grill, headlights, and turn signals. I will search the posts on here and see if there is more info. I figured that asking the question would be good too, since I know at least one person has done this. Thanks for any info.
