Ok first i have 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 with 74,000 miles on it. I just had the altenator replaced a few months ago ever since I got it back i've had a message saying service 4 wheel steer, what does this mean? I don't have quadrasteer, and it doesn't seem like steering has been effected. Then this past weekend a service brake booster message came up for a few seconds and hasnt came up since and brakes seem fine also. My cat also has went bad and im taking that to the dealer but shortly after the cat going bad my engine light came on too is that just because of the O2 sensors mafunctioning because of the bad cat? I know it's a lot of stuff but and info would be much appreciated thanks!

what the hell is a brake booster?

 

The brake booster is the big pod looking thing right behind the brake master cylender. It gives you power brakes. Take it to get the codes pulled and see what they say. I have no idea what that light or code would mean. Good luck!

 

it'll have to be checked..your getting a 4wl steer message on the cluster??..and you don't have it?..sounds like a bad cluster...
