Well my friend, I can give some suggestions, but they are not real cheap. Get the throttle body spacer($80), underdrive pulley kit($130), Long tube Headers($200), 3.73 ring and pinion gears($150), corvette servo for the transmission($20), NGK spark plugs($40), MSD ignition($140). Those are really just some bolt ons. Those motors have good low end torque, but not set up for high rpms. For that you would need to change the cam out.

would any of those mods be good stand alone mods or work best all together? an the servo? i have the 700r4 which has already been torn into so its just a matter of time before i replace it so would it be agood idea to firm up the shifts? an where could i pick one up an how hard would the install be?

The servo is an easy mod. You can do urself in bout 45 mins. It actually saves wear on ur bands. The shifts are faster and firmer. This does not mean it will tear up the tranny. If you did the throttle body spacer, corvette servo, ngk spark plugs, that right there would be real noticeable and give you much better gas mileage. The other mods are more step up mods.

Na that bed should fit. Just measure the bolt holes and make sure they are aligned the same. http://www.oregonperformancetransmis...de=NTP-K51828C
