Question Help finding tires

I am lookin to buy some new tires for my truck, but I want some help deciding. I don't want huge 24" rims , but I do want huge freaking tires ! I have the stock 15" wheels, and want to stick with those for now because I am not sure about what rims to buy...but that's another post.

So yeah, not thin wall race tires, nice meaty asphalt-killing tires please !

Any help is appreciated !

You can get some pretty large tires on that truck but be careful. It's not like the tires are going to rub on the tops of the fenders. There will be plenty of room at the top and in the rear. The problem you may experience is rubbing when you make a turn. The edges of the tires will most probably rub against the front inner wheel well. Ask an experienced tire shop, and they should be able to direct you. Just make sure that they assure you that if it rubs..they will adjust or correct. I have been in the position of this rubbing situation and it is not a great position to be in. I cut about 4 inches of wheel well out and what I should have done is just go with a little lower profile tire. Still "meaty", just one that fit better with no rubbing.
