How do you get all of the fluid out of the transmission?

Yeah but the 2-3 quarts of fluid in the converter isn't anything that's going to hurt your transmission. Heat is what's going to kill your clutch packs and when your trans goes, that's likely what will go - the clutch packs. If you do anything, put a deeper pan on there and get a 40k trans cooler mounted. Keep that thing cool and you'll get a whole lot more life out of it.

I put a bigger cooler on mine and bypassed the radiator and the fluid goin back into the tranny is mildly warm.
