Default how to replace catalytic converter - 1991 Silverado

What's the procedure for replacing the catalytic converter on a 91 Silverado 1500? Is there more than one converter on this truck?

On my 90 there was only one, I scrapped it in exchange for duals. Runs better and gets better mileage, and sounds better too. Only reason to replace it would be emissions I guess. In which case the thing goes on just like a muffler, weld it or clamp it.

straight pipe it itll be loud and better mpg and your truck with breath better without being all choked up from that restricting good for nothing cat plus you can get money for it at a metal recycleing place i got 80 apiece for mine off my 05 crown vic p71 true dual. i put in its place glasspacks and i can notice the difference.
also my truck 88 has no cat just a straight pipe and down pipe right behind the cab it runs so much better like that sadley its not true dual but soon it will be
