Default installing amps and subs ???

I want to add 2 subs and an amp in the back seat of my 2004 sierra. I want to keep my factory cd player and i wanted to know how i would go about installing this. I already have a sub box, 2 8" kickers and an amp. Is there any good websites with pictures and directions to install subs.

What your gonna need to do is buy a high to low converter. This will take your speaker leads and convert them into a rca signal so your amp can recieve the signal. The easiest way to do this in our truck is run your power wire down the drivers side door trim. There is a nice groove to run it through. Your also gonna find speaker leads here for the one side and ther other on the other side. Your gonna need to tap into these to hook up to the high to low. As far as running your power wire don't run it through the door! It will look horrible and you will have major problems if the wire ever gets cut. If you look on the fire wall behind the fuse box there is a groment with a good size wire harness going through it. Cut the top of this and shove a screw driver through it. Make sure your extremely careful to not hit the harness. There is plenty of room in it. This will get your power in under your dash and you'll be able to access it easily. I installed stereos for 4 years at an auto shop so this is the best way of doing it. Oh one more thing is it a Bose system?

With your bose system your not gonna have the great sound from the subs. A bose system is amped to the speakers and you actually have a factory sub in the truck. When you tape into the speaker leads you don't get a true low frequency to send to the amp. Your best alternative is to get an aftermarket deck that will integrate with the bose, which will make that really come alive and you'll also get really good sound from your woofers.
