Default Interior problem 05 sierra pics inside

Hello everyone,

I have a 05 gmc sierra truck. My cabin roof is starting to "sag" at the edge of the gasket by the top of the passanger door. The "foam itself" is not flush when you open the door. If you have a simlar truck you will notice that the foam is form fit to the edge of the door seal.

Any ideas on how to fix this or has this happened to anyone else?

can you push it back up to were it should be? Is it coming off of the roof or is just sagging? From the pictures it looks like you could pull it down a bit so that you can get in there and use some kind of glue, maybe contact cement. you should also check to see if it is wet in there or there is signs that it had water at some time, that could be a sign that there is a bigger problem.

When i push it up, it doesn't stay up. I was afraid glue would be the answer.
Has anyone glued the foam to the roof? If so what brand did you use?

I don't want it to seep and discolor the interior.

No water damage from what i can tell.

contact cement should be the best thing to glue that, if you have ever used it before you'll know that it shouldn't cause any damage or run if you do it right. Other than that there is epoxy glue, the 5 minute stuff should be more than strong enough, but i wouldn't recommend it as it would be hard to spread over the foam.
