It's the "Camshaft and/or 5+6 cylindar"
1992 C1500 305 auto
So Mr. Mechanic just told me computer couldn't find anything, and that my truck problem is either 5 and 6 cylindar or the camshaft.
anything I should check before and after removal of the heads?
My skill level is decent for someone who isn't mechanic-saavy.
Also, with both heads off, anything else I should do while the guts are out in the open?
Thanks guys and apologies for all the questions.

Before doing that, compression check, and pull the spark plugs. See what the plugs look like.
If you're going to pull the heads anyways, I'd suggest having the heads rebuilt, and new exhaust gaskets and bolts. Clean the carbon off of the cylinders, clean intake, throttle body, EGR.
