You should be fine with the JB Weld. Just make sure the area is clean and you allow it to fully cure before putting it to use. Is this on the plastic intake on the Vortec's?

Default Aluminum intake manifol edelbrock rpm

The damage is on the back of the cylinder head. Not alot boke off but i completly covered the broken area in jb weld let it cure for 24 hours and now Im wondering if I should just fill the entire cylinder head bolt hole with jb weld and then just tap and helicoil that. its would probably be great ill throw a picture up
