Today, I pick up my 2008 silverado that has had a leveling kit and duals installed yesterday. I don't have torsion keys. I have a coil over shock assembly. I think all 5.3L 2008s are this way.

The keys are under the cab about 6' behind the front bumper. You will see the torsion bars going into them. There will be a cross member there and then there should be some bolts facing straight down. Turn them equal amounts each tightening them both. Make sure that you measure the vehicle hieght and figure out how much you want to turn them, one piece of advice make sure that you are on the most level ground that you can. When you get ready to measure after the adjustments make sure that you drive the truck a bit so that the vehicle is at a natural rest when you measure. Turn them some and then measure. Once you are all done getting it to the height that you want, go and get it alligned. Good luck and make sure to lube the bolts and let it penetrate for a bit before you try and turn them.

Yeah thats not bad at all. NowI am seriously considering it. I was going to just go with a body lift but it sounds like this is better and cheaper. Does anyone know if this lowers your loadingor towing cap?

Changes nothing but the ride height and the ride quality.

Yeh I would tighten themwith a ratchet and socket, mainly becouse then you can adjust them a little more
precisely. Make sure that you measure then turn and measure then turn some more. Then get it alligned after all is done.
