Hi folks. I just purchased a 2007 GMC Sierra SLT this afternoon. I traded in my old 2001 Silverado on it, and so far have been very impressed. I also drive an '06 Cadillac STS-V and am happy to see that a lot of "Cadillac-esque" features have been carried over into the SLT interior.

The one question I have is regarding the rear view mirror. I have the auto-dimming mirror with the compass and temperature in the upper corner. All functions on the mirror seem to work, but I noticed tonight that the Onstar buttons do not light up. The rest of the mirror seems to function correctly.

The mirror in my Cadillac is virtually identical, and the buttons on that mirror light up, but the ones in my GMC do not. Is this a problem or is that just the way it is? If they are supposed to light up, I will be taking it to the dealer to be fixed.

mine light up in my 02... i dunno bout the new ones but the dealer should be able to tell u...
