Yep, sure did. Lost it on my '94. I was out two-tracking in the UP of Michigan when I felt the back end of the truck come up in the air and drop back down. Thought we just hit a big rock and never thought to look behind me. A few hours later I ended up spinning the tire off the rim. Got out and went to the back to get the spa...

Never did find the tire when we went back to find it. I figure it came loose and the end of the truck used it as a really short pole vault.

 

I cant lose my spare tire because....




Its on my truck hahaha
On a side note, anyone have a cheap tire? o_O

I lost mine yesterday while doing 7o MPH with my trailer behind me.Mechanism hadn't been touched since new[2006]
Thank god that I was on a back country road with no traffic.
Dealer says that they haven't seen this before??
Cable is broke and frayed.
I am going to add another holding device.
