Mileage Question

Mileage Question
I've been looking around for a newer truck and came across several later model versions with very high mileage (2008 with 107k and 2010 with 70k.) This may be a strange question, but I am wondering if a lot of miles put on a truck in a short period of time do more wear and tear than miles put on over a longer time period?

I would say yes. Personally, I would avoid a truck like that for one slightly older, or one that's got less miles.
A truck like that will have been driven to h*ll and back multiple times. Quick tip: Look at the brake pedal pad - if the corner by the driver's pedal is worn down, they were city miles. If the pedal rubber looks decently evenly worn, then assume that they're highway miles.
I would inspect the suspension before buying the truck. There is the possibility that this particular 2010 truck is just fine, but be careful with a high mileage truck this new.
