Default motor swap issues

I have a 88 chevy 1500 it had a fuel injected 305 I just swaped it out with a completely rebuilt 350 out of a 78 chevy p/u.its bored 30 over,it puts out 500hp on the dyno. I have a edlebrock 750 on a edlebrock high rise intake manifold, complete msd ignition,a torque converter and a shift kit,and headmen eleite headers.I pulled the intank fuel pump outand put in a inline pump (7psi) it dropped in and fired up after we got the timing right.but the issues I'm haveing are I lost my speedometer, the gas tank reads full at the time and its not shifting right but I ordered a vacuum resevoir so I think I have that issue fixed. But I'm not sure if the other two issues are electrical from going injected to carburated?any ideas about how to fix this?

Just a thought but speedometer is usually tied in to the transmission so i would check all the connections there. Also here's a weird piece of information but if you pull out your brake fuse you lose speedo but nothing else WTF is up with that. I have tried it on my 90 and it does it so that may be your problem there as well.

The fuel sending unit is built with that harness. What I did to mine to make it carb is just took out the pump and left a tube and strainer in there so the sending unit could still work. I put a Holley 14 psi pump about a foot from the gas tank to push. It worked good.
