this is everyones problem sooner or later......my 93 Silverado became rough @70000mi and I changed to new Edelbrock shocks and Yokohama tires (Avid) the truck then rode like a dream...I now drive a 2wd 01 flairside. now at 70000 the ride is horrible. The tires are replacement Firehawk 500(passenger car rating 255-70-16) they are worn down to about 2/32 left ...Ok that is the history... here is the plan...buy new AVON tires @ tire rack for 89.00 ea.. these are the highest rated tire for comfort and wear. The shocks are critical....what is the choice...edelbrock which will ride a little smoother than stock which will also wear out at 70,000mi which is what they did on my Silverado or Bilstein???Since I drive alot on interstates I require a very comfortable ride....looking for everyones solution....WHAT DID YOU DO?

 

Well I like a stiff/tight handelingride so my opinion would be null and void to you. However I would just go to Autozone and get the most basic, smooth riding shocks they got. No point in blowing a ton of money on shocks. If you do find something you like, check Ebaymotors before you buy it. I found they have REALLY good deals on name brand suspension parts! Good luck.

 

Well, I instaled Sulastic and I'm very happy with their performance, especially when I'm driving without a load.
