Default Mystery Switch

I found this toggle switch under the steering column anyone know what it does. I checked the manual but no luck. I will take a pic in the morning if it helps.

Looks like a kill switch hit and try to start your truck. It might start and run for a few and then die. I had a 85 Firebird with one and I would leave it on all the time. Id get a block away and it would die.

Does your truck have a security system or a remote starter? Anything aftermarket under the dash or with wiring? Check your exhuast and see if there is somthing cool like a cut-out!

I bet it is 1 of 2 things. 1 a kill switch like everyone has mentioned. More than likely a fuelpump cut off switch. or 2 a toggle switch for fog lights. Do you have factory fog lights and a factory switch? Or do you have aftermarket fog lights? That is my best guess. Or just maybe come to think of it... Did you buy your truck 2nd hand and did it have a stereo system in it? I know my mini truck I installed a toggel switch to turn on my amp since my power antena wire was faulty. Hope this might help.
