need help heads/cam 6.0lq4

Smile need help heads/cam 6.0lq4

i have 6.0lq4 with lt pacesetters headers, knn intake and tune with a 4l60e tranny stock gears i was wondering what heads and cam would go perfect together

Depends on how you drive the truck. Is it a daily driver or weekend warrior?

its more of a daily driver right now i was looking into l92 heads but not really good with cam info but in total i think i just drive my truck about 100 miles in total per week and than to the track on weekends that about it

Yeah I was gonna say your gonna need to either get your tranny built or put a 4L80E in there. The L92 heads have been the best choice for flow. For the cam I would look into something like a TR224. Its got lots of torque and pulls hard up top. But you can still daily drive it without any problems. On a 6.0 with this cam, headers, and a tune, your gonna see about close to 100 hp increase.

dang thats a lot of hp i like the sound of that and how would my 1/4 time be looking so far right now with my setup im hitting about 13.8

That all depends on weight of the truck and gearing. But I bet you could get it down close to a low 13. All this with a added torque converter you should be screamin off the line pretty hard.

Welcome. I've got the same cam in my truck, but I'm gonna go bigger so I may wind up selling it for cheap.
