need help with ideas on 06 silverado
well i have a '06 silverado on 22's. i have already upgraded the doorhandles, head lights (halo), tail lights, exhaust, intake and i put a programmer on it. i put the max power on it.
i was wondering what else i could do to get more power out of my truck with out putting a supercharger or turbo on it. i was also wondering if there is any way to take the trackion control. i want to be able to power stall....(burn out)

You can also shave your antenna for free. That mod is floating around in here somewhere...

It is posible that he has traction control, I beleave that was the year that they started putting TC on trucks. and if so there should be a TC botton on the left side of the dash or in middle under the radio somewhere. but then again 22s will not be that easy to burn out with if you dont have enough power or the right gears.

You can put a line lock on the brakes and that should do the trick to get you to burn out. That will also help with not wearing on the rear brakes so much when you do a burnout. If you are looking for more than a smoky burnout, then you need to put traction bars on the rear. Also look at a cowl hood some sort of tounneau cover and maybe an air bag kit.

When you get the Tq management reduced you can turn em over. I have 33s with 3.42 and I spun them several times today with the cooler weather. It is amazing how much faster my truck is @ 51 degrees.
