Need help with TBS install!!!

RE: Need help with TBS install!!!
Iknow this might be a no-brainer, and I apologize if I un-intentionally insult your intellegence.... But make sure you use the tapered bolts in the tapered holes on those spacers. If not, they'll turn when you floor it.

RE: Need help with TBS install!!!
Alright - I think I got it. I threw in the spacers and all the sudden I saw how to adjust the idle (I think it's also the cruise control cable - Right?)
Anyway - it's running smooth now. I had a small air leak but I torqued down the TB and TBS a little more than specs and it's running like a top now.
Thanks for all you guys' help! I really appreciate it. The directions were a little lacking when it came to the linkage spacers and they had the size of the factory bolts wrong so I thought it was for a different application.
Thanks again to all who helped! This forum rocks

Hey bro, I'm glad you got it!! Did you notice your throttle response?? Anyway, the directions that came with my Jet Performance TBS wasn't much better. Thank God I have a little mechanical inclination...

No prob. The 6 lbs of tq they say is friggin' retarded. Mine had a vac. leak from hell. You really have to torque it tighter. If not, you'll have a VERY LOUD squeal and it will sound like your water pump is going ****-up. Just don't get too carried away.

Mine really started squealing, but I tightened it down pretty good. This is kinda one of those times I miss having a good old fashioned metal manifold instead of the nylon composite..... But that thought didn't last very long.
Thanks again guys.....
