Smile Need some Exhaust advice

Ok, so I bought a 2000 Silverado 1500 with the 5.3 in it. It was really mellow so I just put a single Flowmaster Super 44 in it. It sounds a lot better, but I want more. What is the best combo of headers, resonater (if applicable) and exhaust system to get the most sound out of my truck. I want it so loud when I drive down the road it blows womens clothes off! Any advice would be appreciated.

Long tube headers and gut the cats. Or if you have some cash, get some remote cutouts installed. So when cruising you can have it toned down. When you hot rod just open em up and scream like hell down the street.

My system sounds a lot like what you want. I have... well nothing. no mufflers, no cats no emissions at all. Just a 3" pipe coming out of the y pipe, then it splits into dual 2 1/4" pipes coming straight out the back with chrome angle tips. It is somewhat mellow on idle and cruising, but still mean. When I open her up though, its an automatic chubby

Make sure to check local emissions laws before doing that. I did the same thing and come inspection time found that a cat and a muffler where required to pass emission inspection. Lucky for me it only had to be "seen" so all i had to do was get a punched out cat at the junk yard and get some crome resinatior tip on the end that was good.
