need some help.......Quick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So my burban did not want to start this morning....after some quick diag...I realized the fuel pump was not working......well not wanting to buy a pump I started looking at the simpler stuff first, and i find that the grey wire that goes to the fuel pump relay had gotten hot....anyone got any ideas about why that wire would get hot? and does any one have a wiring diagram for my 97 burban or know where I can get a free on online?
thanks

I am not sure why but I guess I will have to start digging to see why that wire is getting hot.......probably gonna have to put a pump in it soon (hopefully not)....if you got any more pics you can email them to me if you want.

Those years had an issue with the gauge of the wire and the plug getting hot and melting. The Delco (Dephi) fuel pumps will come with a new wiring harness and plug that needs to be spliced in.

Shamrock, I did not know that............is the harness big enough to go all the way to the fuse block? thats where the wire got hot.
