I am brand new to this site...and to the world of trucks. Just picked up a 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT (new body style) after trading in my 2005 Acura TL 6-Speed. I have a lot of plans for lifting my new rig, wheels, tires, and all the other good stuff that goes with four-wheeling.

My new truck came with the factory Navigation unit pre-installed and I was wondering if anyone has figured out how to hack it to be able to use the DVD function for traditional DVDs.

Also wondering who I should look into for a suspension lift kit (6") for the new body style Sierra 1500 SLT? I haven't found much for the new style as of yet...only the classic.

Anyways, look forward to reading some posts and getting to work on my new project. Thanks for the replies/help in advance.

 

don't get a suspension lift on the truck get... get small body lift with aggressive tires, suspension will kill the ride performance of the truck
